The EXB-IM System Extender Modules are used in pairs to connect two MCN networks together over an analog phone line, extending the length of an MCN network beyond 4000 feet. The EXB-IM System Extender Modules allow the control of multiple remote comparators from a central site, simultaneously monitoring and controlling Master and Slave comparators in wide-area voting systems.
Multiple pairs of EXB modules can connect multiple MCN networks in real time, spanning distances from a mile to worldwide. Data transfer between distant networks is "live", delayed only by the transit time through the EXB modules and the data rate across the link.
The EXB System Extender Modules use any analog or digitized analog channel that is capable of carrying V.32 terbo standard modem signaling, including standard 2-wire or 4-wire leased lines.

The EXB-AY System Extender Modules are used in pairs to connect two MCN networks together over asynchronous serial channels, extending the length of an MCN network beyond 4000 feet. The EXB-AY System Extender Modules allow the control of multiple remote comparators from a central site, simultaneously monitoring and controlling Master and Slave comparators in wide-area voting systems.

The EXB-AY System Extender Modules can utilize microwave channels, digital channel banks, or T1/E1 digital phone lines.
The EXB-IP System Extender Modules are used to connect multiple MCN networks together over an IP network, extending the length of an MCN network beyond 4000 feet. The EXB-IP System Extender Modules allow the control of multiple remote comparators from a central site, simultaneously monitoring and controlling Master and Slave comparators in wide-area voting systems.
The EXB-IP System Extender Modules use any 10Base-T copper-based Ethernet channel. The EXB-IP utilizes the IP protocol over Ethernet media and can coexist on a wide-area IP network with other IP devices such as workstations, servers, and IP routers. Additionally, they can exist on dedicated Ethernet IP networks, where the only devices on the network are EXB-IPs and (optionally) physical layer hubs.
The EXB-FI System Extender Modules are used in pairs to connect multiple MCN networks together over an IP network, extending the length of an MCN network beyond 4000 feet. The EXB-FI System Extender Modules allow the control of multiple remote comparators from a central site, simultaneously monitoring and controlling Master and Slave comparators in wide-area voting systems.
The EXB-FI System Extender Modules use any 10Base-FI fiber-based Ethernet channel, The EXB-FI utilizes the IP protocol over Ethernet media and can coexist on a wide-area IP network with other IP devices such as workstations, servers, and IP routers. Additionally, they can exist on dedicated Ethernet IP networks, where the only devices on the network are EXB-FIs and (optionally) physical layer hubs. The most common occurrence of a dedicated network is a set of EXB-FIs connected with dedicated fiber.
