MCN Network Interfaces
HIB-232
The HIB-232 module connects a PC running MCNRCD software to an MCN system. It can be used for local or remote dial-up PCs. When installed to connect a remote dial-up PC, it extends the status indications (Vote, Receive, Disable, Fail, Alarm, etc.) and switches from comparator interface modules such as CIBs and AIBs over the network to the remote display position. It can also be used to display and control other I/O devices using CIB and IOB modules.
HIB-IP
The HIB-IP module connects a PC running the MCNRCD software to an MCN system over an IP network. It extends the status indications (Vote, Receive, Disable, Fail, Alarm, etc.) and switches from comparator interface modules such as CIBs and AIBs over the IP (LAN or WAN) network to the remote display position. It can also be used to display and control other I/O devices using CIB and IOB modules.
PCLTA-PCI
The PCLTA-PCI connects a PC running the MCNRCD software to a local MCN system. It extends the status indications (Vote, Receive, Disable, Fail, Alarm, etc.) and switches from comparator interface modules such as CIBs and AIBs to the remote display position. It can also be used to display and control other I/O devices using CIB and IOB modules. This network interface card has a PCI form factor and is compatible with Win2000 and Win XP.
IIB
The IIB Input/Output Interface Module connects a parallel operator display device (such as a console) to the MCN Network. It allows the console operator to Force-Vote and Disable receivers. The IIB is used with AIB ASTRO-TAC™ Comparator Interface Module to provide voting status indications (Vote, Receive, Disable, and Fail) to a console. The IIB can also be used with CIB Comparator Interface Module to extend the comparator display and control for other comparators (Digitac, Spectra-TAC, TAC, and EGE).
